What happens when I hit my free plan limit?
New repairs are paused until your monthly quota resets. Everything you've already taken on — repairs, photos, notes, customer details, emails — stays fully accessible. Nothing gets archived, hidden or locked.
Can I downgrade from Pro back to Free later?
Yes. Switch back at any time from your billing settings. Existing repairs stay accessible; only new-repair creation is gated by the Free limits going forward.
Can I cancel Pro anytime?
Yes — no annual contracts, no lock-in. Cancel from your billing settings and you keep Pro features until the end of your current billing period.
Do I need a credit card to start?
No. You can sign up, take on your first 30 repairs and explore every feature before deciding whether to upgrade.
I'm on Shopify — how does billing work?
If you install RepairStep via Shopify, your subscription bills through your Shopify account so you only have one invoice to track. Otherwise we bill directly via Stripe.
